Talking Hendrix News For the Week of August 2, 2019 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's coming up this week..... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Everyone, We are officially back on the air this friday night from 10-11:30 p.m. on www.bostonfreeradio.com I am very greatful and humble to be back on Boston Free Radio and I want to personally thank the station manager Heather McCormack and the executive director Brian Zipp, it feels great to be back on a well known station that has such a diverse choice of programming for everyone, and and this is why we are happy to be back on the station that gave us our start, thanks to everyone including Brian and Heather at Boston Free Radio/Sommerville Community Access Television for welcoming us back with open arms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our first guest had a very successful career in the seventies and early eighties with his singing partner England Dan" also know as Dan Seals who went on to have a successful solo career in the eighties and nineties we sadly lost Dan in 2011 to a battle with cancer, but John Ford Coley is still out there performing all the classic hits you know and love and you'll get to hear him talk with us about the days with England Dan and what John's currently up to now. You'll get to hear Colin talk to us about the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, plus their upcoming tour with sixties legend Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, plus they are doing a small stint of a solo tour without Brian which is what we are promoting in our show, but you can always go to the official website of the Zombies and check out where they are coming with Brian Wilson.
