Talking Hendrix News For the Week of October 11, 2019

Ginger Baker of Cream. Ginger had set the set the standards for a lot of current rock drummers of today, using the double bass drum set, Ginger was not only a member of Cream but also Blind Faith, we lost him today Sunday October 6th, he was surrounded by family when he passed. Ginger will be sadly missed in the music world he gave us a lot of great music with all the different bands he's been with, he also covered a lot of different fields of music including Jazz Fusion, Rock, african rythm and so much more. He also had his own recording studio in Lagos which is near Nigeria one of the most famous albums recorded in this particular studio was Paul McCartney and Wings "Band On The Run" album...which was Wings masterpiece album and cranked off a lot of hits from the album as well including "Helen Wheels", "Jet", "Band On The Run", "Live and Let DIe",, "Let Me Roll It" and many more. We will miss you Ginger, but we know you're up there in Rock and Roll Heaven Jamming with all your friends that have passed before you including your band mate Jack Bruce, Jimi Hendrix, and many more legendary iconic friends that were in the music business with you.
